It's close to the port, the building is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, the food is delicious, and the amenities are great. What's more, the landlady's hospitality is fantastic! It was fantastic.
I stayed here for two consecutive nights.
The breakfast was freshly made and very delicious, and the wife was very kind. It was a great inn. The bath was a stone bath, which was very tasteful and had a nice feel to it.
The proprietress provided cheerful and friendly service, and her husband cooked excellent food.
I loved the soy-marinated sea bass for dinner.
Of course, breakfast was also delicious.
The dried sandfish was the best!
I think they cook rice differently in the evening and in the morning.
The room I stayed in was a spacious Japanese-style room.
The toilet was shared, but clean.
The bath area could fit two people.
I'd love to stay here again if I visit Oki Islands!
This inn is very close to the ferry terminal. If you have any concerns before your trip, you can always contact them via their official website, and they'll always be happy to answer them.
The landlady is very cheerful and easy to talk to, and the inn feels like a home away from home, like being at a relative's house. From what I've heard, it's been recently renovated, so it's very new. Check-in is done via tablet, and I was surprised to see the electronic lock for the women's bath!
The bathroom is shared, but the women's and men's toilets are properly locked, so it's very safe. Amenities are available in the lobby, and there's a tea and water dispenser, so you can drink tea anytime. Coffee is only available in the morning due to noise issues, but instant milk tea and matcha latte are available anytime with hot water. There's also a parking lot in front of the inn. The shared women's bath is surprisingly clean.
The breakfast was generous and delicious.
Credit cards are accepted.
I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Dogo Island.
